Care and safety
Candles
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep it away from children, pets, draughts and anything that can catch fire.
- Put it on a level, heat-resistant surface.
- Trim the wick to about 5 mm before you light it.
- The first time, let it burn until the whole top has melted, so it burns evenly later; do not burn it for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Stop using a jar or tin candle when about 1 cm of wax is left.
Wax melts
- Use them only in a burner made for wax melts, and never leave it on unattended.
- Do not move the burner while the wax is liquid.
Soaps
- Keep the soap on a dish that drains, so it dries between uses.
- For external use only. Keep it away from your eyes; if it gets in them, rinse with plenty of water.
- The ingredients of each soap are on its page. If your skin is sensitive, try it on a small area first.
